Antitrust prolongs maximum fertilizer price orders to June 2024

MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has prolonged a recommendation on the maximum national market prices for mineral fertilizers until May 31, 2024 to keep the prices at the 2022 level, the authority said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The national mineral fertilizer prices will remain at the level of 2022. No indexation is envisaged at the moment. This is thanks to a government regulation restricting mineral fertilizer exports," the ministry said.

The government prolonged the export quotas for mineral fertilizers from December 1, 2023 until May 31, 2024 in November at about 17 million tonnes.
